Parade of Bass Festival

Peace, Love, Unity and Respect

If you totally dig concerts where there's only a couple of musical instruments on stage—a couple keyboards but certainly no guitars or drum kits—and most performers stylishly refer to themselves with the letters D and J prefacing phantasmagorical names, then have we got the show for you! On Friday, May 3 electro wizards of all types, who have mastered the lower frequencies, join forces at the first-ever Parade of Bass Festival at the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque Balloon Museum. Beginning at 6pm, 18-plus concertgoers can experience the magic created by acts like Slander, Said the Sky, Wooli, Wavedash and Papa Beats. The aforementioned does it all funky-style under a spectacular LED-lit, balloon-shaped backdrop, because visuals are part of the immersive experience offered at Flesh Fairs—I mean raves, these days. Don't forget your funky PJs, body paint and a tube of Vicks VapoRub, kids, because this show is it. General admission tickets are $45 and VIP costs up to $85. (August March)
