Running Out of Doors

Let’s just think for a moment about where we are and what we are doing. In Albuquerque’s open space, a group of artists have taken this moment to ask visitors to consider the ecology of the Rio Grande Valley through sculpture. Out of Doors: Acts of Ecology in Albuquerque is the first exhibit of Art Park 21, a new series of outdoor sculptures on the land of Open Space Visitor Center, Los Poblanos Fields and the Pueblo Montano picnic area. Art Park 21 begins with an opening reception on Saturday, May 11 from 2pm to 4pm at Open Space Visitor Center (6500 Coors Blvd. NW). This event is free and open to the public. For more information, see cabq.gov/openspace.
