Looking into the eyes of a bird of prey will quickly remind you just how easy it would be for us to lose our spot on the food chain. This Saturday, May 11, freak yourself out with a presentation on NM Raptors at Cerrillos Hills State Park. Guest presenter Laura McCann brings a great horned owl, a red-tailed hawk and a turkey vulture to educate bird enthusiasts of all ages about the important role that raptors play in our ecosystem. The presentation runs from 11am to 1pm. Admission is $5 per vehicle or free with a valid New Mexico State Parks pass. Wear a diaper (raptors are scary). (Joshua Lee)
