Out From the Shadows

In All I Ever Had of You Were Shadows, Michael Ellis explores through multiple media the death of his uncle, whose childhood sexual molestation and murder along the Mississippi River in 1972 still haunts the history of his family. The Southwest University of Visual Arts (5000 Marble Ave. NE) will host an opening reception for All I Ever Had of You Were Shadows on Thursday, May 9 from 6pm to 8pm. This event is free and open to the public, but Ellis suggests it is not appropriate for children under 13. For more information, see michaelellisart.com.
