The City of Albuquerque Open Space Visitor Center presents a juried exhibit of fiber arts with the theme of “Earth Threads” during the New Mexico Fiber Art Crawl, taking place May 17-19. The artist reception of “Earth Threads” is taking place May 18 2pm-4pm. For the show artists working in a variety of fiber media created original works inspired by the concepts of soil conservation, community, habitat and ecosystems, the effects of climate change on our native landscapes, and the beauty of our New Mexico public lands.
