Khenpo Ugyen teaches the Middle Way, an important concept in Buddhism, also called Madhyamaka. Explore meditation practice and discuss practical applications to everyday life.
The Middle Way, an important concept in Buddhism, is also called Madhyamaka. In this teaching there will also be meditation practice and discussion of practical applications to everyday life.
The teacher, Khenpo Ugyen Tenzin, received the Acharya degree at Nalanda Institute and Sampumanand Sanskrit University jointly in 1991. Khenpo Ugyen has a relaxed style and is known for his friendly and compassionate approach to teaching and performing blessings. He taught Buddhist philophy as a Khenpo, equivalent to a PhD in the Western context. for 6 years at Nimalung Monastery in Bhutan.
Khenpo Ugyen is in Albuquerque for a week and along with teaching can perform Buddhist blessings for a home, business, pets or other.
There is a lunch break both days from 12 PM to 2:30 PM.
Cost is $15 per session, there are 4 sessions, Saturday and Sunday AM and PM.
