This exhibition takes you back in time, dedicated to historic photographic printing processes dating back to the 1800s. Featuring 76 contemporary photographers, this exhibition shows a variety of handmade photographic prints produced by using metal salts such as platinum, palladium, gold, silver, and chromium to make a photosensitive emulsion hand applied to fine art paper, glass, fabric, or metal.

The Handmade Photograph Exhibition demonstrates these processes reinterpreted by contemporary photographers. Some use these techniques very traditionally, with an in-camera negative and a straight print. Others use a digital negative with one or even two different historic photographic processes to make a print entirely unique and handmade.
