About the Artist:  Jane grew up in rural Southwestern Pennsylvania and as a result has a deep appreciation for mother nature.  She is a master of bringing her love of nature to life in her paintings and drawings, projecting peace and majesty in all of her works.  Also passionate about foreign lands, Paris and Italy are recurring themes.

Jane received her first degree in Fine & Commercial Art in Pittsburgh, PA.  Upon her graduation she moved to Cleveland Ohio, where she began to take an interest in bodies of water, including them more frequently on the canvas.  From there she began traveling more frequently, from the Jersey shore to the East Coast of Florida, and sojourning across the Atlantic Ocean.

In 2007 Jane moved to New Mexico with her daughter, where they both continue to live.  During her travels she has belonged to many art leagues and exhibited her works in numerous places including Lakewood, Ohio, Santa Fe Society, New Mexico Art League, Santa Fe Art Market, Pittsburgh, Pa., and Boca Raton, Fl.  Her mediums include both oils and acrylics, while her drawings are generally pen and ink with pencil.  At times she will also use washes and continues to explore other mediums.  Aside from her artwork Jane's other interests and hobbies include: reading, history, cooking, sewing, and learning Italian.
