Groove to live music! Make a tee-shirt! Adopt a pet! Celebrate local artists! You’ll find all of this and more at the Fifth Annual Baca Street Bash on Saturday, July 20, from 4 - 8 p.m.
This year, circus performers from Wise Fool join the fun; Auntie Kackle and the Cole Slaw King play some funky tunes; and Oasis Paleteria offers up yummy paletas (Mexican ice cream bars).
The fun starts at the intersection of Baca and Cerrillos; from there, it’s an easy walk to the participating establishments:
Art.i.fact, 930 Baca St.: Art opening: "Surf’s Up: Staying Stoked in The Apocalypse," a group show featuring works that cultivate hope, joy, dreaming, and sustainability in these intense times. Plus, Tarot card readings by Coryelle Kramer.
