Author: Amaris Ketcham,

 is an honorary Kentucky Colonel who teaches interdisciplinary courses in the University of New Mexico's Honors College and is the instructor/faculty advisor for the Western Regional Honors Council's award-winning magazine Scribendi. In 2015, Amaris was awarded Outstanding New Teacher of the Year Award at the University of New Mexico. Her work has appeared in Creative Nonfiction, the Kenyon Review, Prairie Schooner, Rattle, and the Utne Reader.
