While ballroom-style salsa is beautiful and technical, meet its raw, street-style relative, Cuban salsa. It's fun, it's sexy, and it's a workout! International Cuban dancers Ranses Charon and Zohra Bestal bring their authentic and expert skills to Maple Street Dance Space for the Cuban Dance Summer Intensive on Thursday and Friday, July 25 and 26 as well as Tuesday, July 30, all at 6pm. Classes and skills range from beginning to advanced and drop-ins are welcome. Learn timba (footwork), Afro, rumba, casino, son, cha-cha-chá and more. Classes are only $15, and you'll walk away with a fun skill set on apply to any dance floor and use the techniques in conjunction with other styles you may already know. (Mayo Lua de Frenchie)
