The Song Remains the Same

On Friday, August 2, Modern Albuquerque and Retrograde Tours host a screening of the documentary film Led Zeppelin Played Here. The movie concerns the fabled band's 1969 tour, Richard Nixon and a concert appearance by Robert Plant and company at our city's former home for touring rock artists, Civic Auditorium. The all-ages screening costs $20 per person and tickets are available at fareharbor.com/modernalbuquerque. The doors of the National Dance Institute of New Mexico—formerly Hiland Theater—where the event is held, open at 6:30pm. So do the “Misty Mountain Hop” or “Bron-Y-Aur Stomp” or whatever the heck they call it and beat feet on over. (August March)
