Yelptropolis is back, so the event says. Happening Thursday, Aug. 22, an amalgamation of food and drink vendors will be gathering to celebrate “companies and people who contribute to the overall health of our environment, source locally, and position New Mexico as a national model for green initiatives in the 21st century.” For anyone 21 and over, with a suggested donation of $10 (which goes to Blackout Theatre Company, who will be performing that night), you can be a part of the celebration. Featuring local favorites like The Acre, Poki Poki Cevicheria, Fork & Fig, Rosemary, Spring Rollin' and more, you’ll find no end to the amount of food and drink available for you to partake in. This will be happening at the El Rey Theater (622 Central Ave. SW), starting at 7pm, so for more information, go to yelp.com and find out more.
