Frank Graziano gives a presentation history and art behind the beautiful churches around the state.
Since the beginning of his career in 1990, Frank Graziano has written on an extraordinarily wide range of topics in Latin American culture. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico and has been the recipient of grants and fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Fulbright program, among many others. Between 1999 and 2016 he was John D. MacArthur Professor of Hispanic Studies at Connecticut College. Graziano’s books on religious cultures include Undocumented Dominican Migration (University of Texas Press, 2013),Miraculous Images and Votive Offerings in Mexico (Oxford University Press, 2016), and Historic Churches of New Mexico Today (Oxford Press, 2019).
