Take a deep breath of the next generation as 17-year-old slam poet Emily Jaramillo-Leyba takes the mic for the last Respira show of the year at Red Planet Books & Comics (1002 Park Ave. SW) on Sunday, Sept. 8 at 4pm. Captain of the Indigenous poetry group Rez Spit, Jaramillo-Leyba brings her solo work to Red Planet for this free, all-ages Burque Revolt event.
