La Fonda del Bosque is proud to be hosting the Opening Ceremony of the 'New Beginnings' Art Expose' featuring the works of Armando Diaz, Artist.  The Opening Ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 19th from 6-8pm at La Fonda del Bosque, at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.  There will be free tapas (while supplies last) and a full bar with drinks available for purchase (non-alcoholic beverages avaialbe as well).  This is an all ages event.  We thank you for supporting local businesses like La Fonda and local artists.  We look forward to seeing yout.

Opening Ceremony:  Thursday, September 19th, from 6-8pm only. 

Free Public Art Exhibit:  Open Tuesday-Saturday, 11:30-2pm Starting September 19th through October.

About the Artist, from the Artist:

I am Amando Diaz, a self taught artist. Born in Albuquerque New Mexico, in 1957.  I grew up in the South Valley and went to West Mesa High School. Airbrushed throughout New England for 18 years. Returned to the Duke City and became a studio type artist and learned to paint with brushes as well as airbrush. Blessed by our lord with two very strong and beautiful exwives, 7 children and 13 grandchildren.
