The Archaeology of Being opening reception
New works by Ren Adams exploring the relationship between science, philosophy and the emergence of being from non-being.
A dash of Tao, Zen and physics. This exhibit also marks the completion of Adams' BFA thesis, via the University of New Mexico. Works on paper feature a variety of printmaking techniques, including a blending of traditional and contemporary methods. Combinations of lithography, serigraphy, intaglio, monotype, image transfer, relief and collagraph unite to form mixed media originals. Many of the works are large scale, reminiscent of sacred Chinese scrolls, enlivened by an expressionist aesthetic. Work is for sale.Art show and gallery opening are open to the public. Free parking.
