Opening Reception Featuring Cameron Krow and Alison Green

Celebrate October's exhibitions Enwomb and Biophilia: Our True Nature.

Harwood Art Center is pleased to announce our October exhibitions featuring Enwomb by Cameron Krow in the Main Gallery. Enwomb showcases Krow’s landscape based sculptures that explore nests as symbols for the womb and encourage the viewers to examine their relationships to planet, mother, home, body, and the space where they all intersect. The Front Gallery features Biophilia - Our True Nature by Alison Green, whose recent paintings are inspired by her love of nature, her interests in myths and stories, and her concern for the health of our planet and humankind. By using botanical imagery in her paintings, she endeavors to awaken our inner response to archetypal images of the natural world and to encourage attention to the outer circumstances that affect us all. We invite you to join us for an Opening Reception at Harwood Art Center on Friday, October 4 from 6 - 8pm. This event is free and open to the public. Exhibitions Run: October 4 - 24, 2019.
