Ain't Life a Mystery?

Bad Religion, a first generation punk rock outfit straight outta El Lay, continues to absorb and reflect American culture in an age when the form of rocanrol they espouse is particularly germane to the conversation we're all having right now about where America is going. With potent, driving and dang fine tuneage like 1994's “21st Century (Digital Boy)” and 2007's “New Dark Ages,” the band, across several different iterations, has raged against everything that needs fixing in our culture, from politics to religion. You can be part of the Albuquerque audience that affirms the value of these DIY democratic tendencies by attending a show by these prolifically opinionated yet totally rocked out symbols of the scene. They have a gig on Friday, Oct. 4 at El Rey Theatre. It's an all-ages gathering and admission is $32. Dave Hause and The Mermaid and Emily Davis and The Murder Police open. The music begins at 8pm. (August March)
