As this week of climate action spreads through the state, the Museum of Encaustic Art (632 Agua Fria Street, Santa Fe) is opening Global Warming is REAL on Saturday, Sept. 21 from noon to 4pm. This third annual juried exhibit features works from 38 artists working in a variety of encaustic media as they consider the mounting evidence of a very real, very present danger that could impact not only all life on the planet, but also their work which responds poorly to high temperatures. For more information on this free, all-ages event, see moeart.org.
