Jeff Berg is a freelance writer and film historian, based in Santa Fe. His previous careers include newspapers, the US Postal Service, and smashing Imperialism. He has lived in Wyoming, Montana, Alaska, Colorado, and California, after fleeing his home state of Illinois at a young age. Currently, he works for the Santa Fe Animal Shelter as an Adoptions Counselor (used dog and cat salesperson) and assists in their Foster Program. Stop by, he'll give you a deal on a kitten.
First inhabited by Pueblo Indians as early as 1050, Santa Fe has been delighting residents and visitors with its one-of-a-kind environment for nearly a thousand years. With so much natural wonder to explore and a burgeoning arts scene, "The City Different" has become a top travel destination. 100 Things To Do in Santa Fe Before You Die provides an insider's eye for the main attractions and the sights you might otherwise miss in New Mexico's capital city.
