Ariel Burger presents his book, answers questions and sign copies of the work.

Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel was a Nobel laureate, activist, adviser to world leaders, and author of more than 40 books. But he always said, “I am a teacher first.” Burger, his student and friend, gives us a front-row seat to Wiesel’s remarkable exchanges in the classroom and out – a primer on educating against indifference and the urgency of memory and individual responsibility. These conversations invite every reader to become Wiesel’s student, and witness.

This event is presented in collaboration with the the Jewish Book Council. Ariel will present his book, answer questions, and sign books. To purchase books in advance, please visit jccabq.org, the JCC, or our bookstore partners, Bookworks (4022 Rio Grande Blvd NW) and Page 1 Books (5850 Eubank Blvd NE). Books will also be available for purchase at the event.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Questions? Call 332-0565 x 4518. Tickets can be purchased online at holdmyticket.com
