The Dinner Party, an icon of twentieth-century art by Judy Chicago, is a symbolic history of women in Western Civilization. Before its permanent housing in the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art at the Brooklyn Museum in Brooklyn, New York, The Dinner Party toured worldwide where it was viewed by more than a million people. It counts for thirty percent of the visitors to the Brooklyn Museum.
