Rufina Taproom Presents:

The Taste Of Space:

A Unique Electronic Music & Multimedia Performance By SFCC Students

Friday, December 6th // 8pm // FREE // All Ages

For more than a decade, students of Santa Fe Community College’s Intro to Reason and Live class have left the classroom behind to take the best final ever - performing their music for a live audience. This semester is no different, as the students will take the stage and perform original electronic music that they created using the software programs Reason and Ableton Live. The event takes place from 7:30–10:00 pm, Friday, December 6, 2019 at Second Street Brewery, 2920 Rufina Street. The show is free to the public and open to all ages.

You are now in outer space. You stare out the window, see the world below and the stars all around and it’s real, in your face, everything you imagined…except that the window is actually our music and your eyes are actually your ears. All are welcome aboard the mothership. From across the universe at the speed of sound we have come to bring you a Taste of Space, a live/electronic galactic/gastronomic once in a lifetime experience.

The purpose of the show is not only to test the students on what they have learned throughout the semester, but also to provide a platform for them to present their artwork to the community
