What Is This?

The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science does its part to spread holiday cheer with a screening of Tim Burton’s beloved 1993 fantasy The Nightmare Before Christmas. The stop-motion animated film tells the story of Jack Skellington, Halloweentown’s beloved Pumpkin King, who gets bored with his annual gig and accidentally stumbles into the tinsel and snowflakes of Christmastown. The film screens Friday, Dec. 13 at 7pm and Saturday, Dec. 14 at 7pm. Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for children ages 3 to 12. Kids 2 and under get in free. You can get your tickets in advance by going to the NatureWorks Discovery Store inside the museum or by logging on to naturalhistoryfoundation.org/nightmare-before-christmas. NMMNH is located at 1801 Mountain Rd. NW.
