Are you a woman of color who wants to get clear on your professional goals for 2020? Join us to take a holistic look at where you're at and how to reach your goals.
Gain a deeper understanding of your strengths and how they are being applied in your professional life.
Define clear goals for the next 3-6 months.
Create a road map for getting your goals.
As women in the sector, we make up the majority of front-line positions (just take a look around your office) while executive leadership and board positions are predominantly held by men. As women of color, we are aware of the lack of representation at all leadership levels.
Whether you want to move into a leadership position at your organization or make a change, you need time to think and breathe and plan. On top of your professional goals and balancing a busy personal life, it feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day!
This session will help you take a holistic look at where you are in relation to where you want to be. We’ll use a proprietary goal-setting framework to clearly define your leadership and personal development goals. Through group discussion and hands-on planning, you will walk away with a road map for the next 3-6 months.
Women of color in the nonprofit sector at all staff levels
Annie Sánchez, CEO of Mariposa Strategies, is a productivity-obsessed clarity coach on a mission to decrease overwhelm in the lives of women and people of color. She works with clients through a hybrid coaching and consulting model that takes big ideas to the next level. Annie also created Clarity Pages, a 13-week journal designed to help people organize thoughts, ideas and to-dos while advancing goals.
As the former Director of the Center for Nonprofit Excellence, Annie led the development of the New Mexico Nonprofit Principles & Practices Guide and Companion Workbook. She has a diverse background in fundraising, communications and marketing, community development, and project management, among freelance hustles too numerous to mention.
