Learn about the method and how qigong can help with health, energy, keeping organs healthy and joints flexible and how it can help to diminish the effects of aging.
Qigong – the study of enhancing qi (the life force)/ energy in the body will be discussed and practiced. Enhancing your life force (qi) can be used to increase one’s energy, health, and mental focus, while lessening the effects of aging, stress, and anxiety.
People who will benefit from this class are martial artists, people wanting to decrease the stress/anxiety in their lives, those that want to age gracefully, increase their energy, and learn how to heal the soft tissues in the body.
The plan for this course is to continue learning about and practicing qigong/neigong through multiple sessions of monthly classes scattered throughout the year. The class is not restricted to students who have no background in tai chi or qigong. You do not have to know a tai chi form to benefit from this class. For martial artists, this class is to enhance your martial arts practice by learning how to incorporate the principles of qigong/neigong to direct energy through the body.
