Tear down the drapes and ready your play clothes because the New Mexico Gay Men's Chorus comes out from the hills and into the KiMo for a Sound of Music Sing-a-Long fundraiser. Snacks, cocktails and you singing show tunes await on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 7pm to 10:30pm. Tickets are $25, with $75 tickets available for the pre-show VIP event. (Clarke Condé)

The smash-hit musical show that has been all around the world and is now back in Albuquerque. Sing-a-Long Sound of Music is a screening of the classic Julie Andrews film musical in glorious, full-screen technicolor, complete with subtitles so that the whole audience can sing along. The evening includes popcorn and candy concessions, cash bar by Tractor Brewing, fantastic raffle prizes and an amazing costume contest. The audience then watches the movie with dozens of other nuns, Julie Andrews look-alikes, and Von Trapp children as everyone sings their hearts out during the songs! So get those vocal chords warmed up, cut up those chintz curtains and hurry down for the perfect night out.
