O’Neill’s Pub Nob Hill continues its Dinner and a Movie promotion with a month-long salute to ’80s icon John Hughes. It starts on Wednesday, Feb. 5 with a screening of Hughes’ 1985 sci-fi comedy Weird Science—in which high school geeks Anthony Michael Hall and Ilan Mitchell-Smith use their home computer to build the perfect woman (Kelly LeBrock), leading to all sorts of comic chaos. This is followed by 1984’s Sixteen Candles (Feb. 12), 1988’s The Great Outdoors (Feb. 19) and 1985’s The Breakfast Club (Feb. 26). Seating begins at 6pm. All films start at 7pm. Admission is free. All drinks and food items are available for purchase during the screening. For more info go to
