A community gathering and read-in to celebrate Black Literature and History. Participants are welcomed to come listen to excerpts from Black authors/artists, view an exhibit of Black History/Resilience from the NM African American Resilience Committee, participate in a book swap, and visit the South Broadway Cultural Center Gallery & Library.

 

When you register, attendees will have the option to bring a 2-3 min excerpt to read to the audience, or just attend the event. Reading space is limited.

 

This event is also in collaboration with CABQ Cultural Services Department, CABQ Office of Civil Rights, and CABQ Office of Civic Engagement.
