Kamalini Mukherji brings sounds of India to Outpost Performance Space (210 Yale SE) on Saturday, April 6. Mukherji represents the new generation of Rabindra Sangeet singers, who perform songs written by Bengali polymath Rabindranath Tagore. Mukherji’s renditions of Tagore Songs are yearning and potent. World music enthusiasts of all ages can experience this poetic song form on Saturday, April 6, at 7:30 p.m. General admission is $20, and Outpost members and students save five bucks.
