Native American Dances

Featuring dance groups from across the 19 New Mexico pueblos.

Every weekend, year-round, American Indian dance performances are scheduled at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. Many of the dance groups are world-traveled and nationally recognized performers. During special events at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, visitors may also watch Plains Style, Navajo, or Hopi dance groups. Pueblo dance groups perform a broad range of dances, such as the Buffalo dance, the Eagle dance, the Butterfly dance, the Deer dance, and the Turkey dance. Dancers explain the significance of their dances, share their cultural experiences, and interact with visitors during every dance performance.
