A family musical about Young Louie, the new kid in town.

Darth Vader and Pocahontas will be shim-shamblin' down the street to the catchy songs of Stephen Schwartz (Godspell, Pippin, and Wicked), with a script by Anthony Stein based on the children’s book “The Trip” by Ezra Jack Keats. Having just moved to his new neighborhood, young Louie feels lonely without any new friends.  Looking for something to cheer himself up on Halloween Night, Louie takes an imaginary journey on the wings of his favorite toy, his little red plane, and returns to his old neighborhood where he and his old friends are reunited for some Halloween antics.  The story is full of tricks and treats and the incomparable music and lyrics of Stephen Schwartz.  Most of all, “Captain Louie” celebrates friendship – making new friends and remembering old ones.

Six performances:  October 26-November 3 — Saturdays at 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm; Sundays at 2:00 pm
