Relief prints by Jeff Simpson & Etchings by Ray Maseman.

Untold Stories is an exhibition of visual stories by two talented and unique printmakers. Jeff Simpson creates black and white relief wood engravings that depict scenes similar to the ones found in 19th century 'Penny Dreadfuls' melodramatic novels. Ray Maseman’s images illustrate various animals on voyages and quests of land, sea, and air. Both artists have created visually stimulating images that represent their unique interpretations of life. During the First Friday Artscrawl on November 1 from 5 to 8pm only, New Grounds is hosting a sale to benefit “Art in the School”, a non-profit afterschool art program for children. Artwork will be on sale throughout the gallery in support of this wonderful organization. Please contact Beth Larson at 505-306-0471 or for more information.   Exhibition dates: November 1 – 30. 2013 Sneak Preview: October 29 - 31   First Friday Artscrawl reception: November 1, 5 – 8 pm Demonstration: from 6:30 – 7 pm during the reception
