Join us for a community celebration of urban agriculture and open space.
Did you know that the City of Albuquerque Open Space Division manages over 366 acres of farmland both for food production and wildlife habitat? We're proud to be a part of Albuquerque's agricultural heritage, and for the fifth consecutive year we're celebrating with a unique event for the whole family. We've joined forces with local farmers, businesses, and conservation organizations to bring attention to local agriculture and to help you bring the traditions of farming to your very own backyard! Meet farmers, buy local produce and art, meet the authors of the book The Home Farming Revolution, live music, hay bale rides, children's costume parade, live raptors, kids's activities, gourmet food, beekeeper's, water harvesting, alpacas, beneficial garden bugs, tips for arid gardening, and so much more!
