Ain't Wastin' No More Time
Image courtesy of the artistMeanwhile over at National Hispanic Cultural Center on Wednesday, May, 15 at 7:30pm, the adept sons of two of the greatest American southern guitar stompers ever known—Gregg Allman and Dickie Betts—are throwing a show. The Allman Betts Band truthfully consists of Devon Allman, Duane Betts and their varied sidemen. They are a band to be reckoned with, possessed of a finesse and fury supplemented by paternity but not dependent on it. See these fellows in concert, as they blow your mind with the certainty with which they bring a purely American musical form to the fire. Their 2019 world tour features new, original tuneage as well as def interpretations of Allman Brothers songs that are legendary all around the rockin' planet we call home. Tickets for this tasty, all-ages excursion into Southern-fried goodness range in price from $37 to $57 so ramble on down, man. (August March)
