Image via PixabayYou could be forgiven for mistaking the ukulele for a tiny guitar, but it's actually a unique instrument with its own flavor and style. And—as Tiny Tim will tell you—the Hawaiian instrument has the habit of turning anyone who touches it into an instant rock star. Get your taste of fame and fortune by visiting the Albuquerque Ukekopelli Festival this Friday to Sunday, Sept. 27 through 29, at the African American Performing Arts Center at Expo New Mexico. This year's theme is “Come Together,” and ukulele lovers of all ages are invited to enjoy the hits of The Beatles performed by ukulele musicians. Friday kicks off at 8:30am and Saturday begins at 8am. Tickets start at $25. (Joshua Lee)
