SUMMARY:Bobcat Live at Echoes Brewery\, Albuquerque NM
DESCRIPTION:Hi Alibi crew\, I found you on the website and I think my one man band would be a great fit in your publication. I hope you get the chance to check it out. \nAppearing live at Echoes Brewing\, Albuquerque NM on Thu Dec 14 7:30pm to 10:30pm FREE SHOW\, TIPS APPRECIATED \nFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: \nBOBCAT ANNOUNCES 18 MONTH TOUR PROMOTING DUAL ALBUM RELEASE \nBobcat is a one-man band from Long Island NY playing a blend of power pop\, garage rock and rockabilly. He was a founding member of psychobilly legends The Arkhams and now performs live as a one man band with drums at foot\, percussion at heel\, baritone guitar in hands\, and a voice you’ll remember. \n2022 was a creative season for Bobcat that saw the release of not one but two full-length albums. While more is already on the way\, he recognized that new songs were no good unless shared; so\, the Cat is embarking on an adventurous 18 month tour scheduled to begin in March 2023 and go into the next year. \nThis new release is an album with 15 original songs on it plus bonus tracks of cover songs from all different genres of music. Like the two preceding albums\, there is a common theme in the songwriting about events in everyday life\, feelings we may have and can relate to\, sing along-able anthems and heartfelt ballads of the trials and tribulations of life in the modern era. \nBobcat is a seasoned veteran of the rockabilly\, psychobilly and punk rock scenes in NYC for over 2 decades. Played in many bands and toured relentlessly for most of that time. After a brief hiatus to start a business\, is back in action and ready to stand tall and deliver! Always a fan of melodic yet driving music from years gone by\, there is a certain sense of nostalgia in the music he creates. With a clear nod to the likes of Elvis Costello\, The Beatles\, Big Star\, Buddy Holly and early Motown and Stax records\, Bobcat creates something fresh with this blend of music unlike anything else going on today. \n“so much music from so little accompaniment” – Divide and Conquer Music Blog \n“one man sounds like a full ensemble complete with bass and piano” – fan at shows \n“nothing gets me moving like hearing this wild one man band work his magic and talent” -another fan at shows \nPlease contact info@bobcatmusic.li or bobcatofficial1@gmail.com for interviews\, guest list and further info \nwww.bobcatmusic.li \nhttps://youtube.com/c/BobcatMusicOneManBand \nwww.facebook.com/bobcatonemanband \nwww.instagram.com/bobcatonemanband \n \nhttps://bobcat522.bandcamp.com/ \n###

SUMMARY:PIANO ILLUSIONS
DESCRIPTION:Polish-born pianist and magician Igor Lipinski reimagines the piano recital in a mystifying and hilarious evening of music and magic\, Piano Illusions.\nDr. Lipinski\, now on the piano faculty of the University of Oklahoma\, and a performer of magic Illusions since his youth\, created the show as an undergraduate at Eastman School of Music. Piano Illusions later won the WQXR Classical Comedy Contest at Caroline’s on Broadway and has been performed throughout the U.S. and abroad. Fascinated by the prospect of reinventing the recital for today’s audience\, Lipinski explored unusual recitals from Liszt to Victor Borge as his doctoral dissertation research at Northwestern. His appearance in Albuquerque is made possible by Professional Music Teachers of New Mexico as part of their annual conference and is open to the public.
