Thursday 4

“The O.C.” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) Now that the Red Sox have won, FOX's hip, hot teenybopper soap returns with more “Beverly Hills 90210” action.

Friday 5

“Star Trek: Enterprise” (KASY-50 7 p.m.) I don't think it's really gonna help the ratings slide, but it's rather comforting to see “Next Generation” graduate Brent Spiner back in the Trekkie fold as mad scientist Dr. Soong, the great, great grandfather of Data's creator. Apparently, the good Doc is trying to create an army of “Augments” for assorted nefarious purposes. This one's part of a three-part story arc.

Saturday 6

“Cops Special Edition: Tazed and Confused” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) Seriously, is police violence anything to laugh at? Should alleged lawbreakers, restrained through so-called “nonviolent” means, be made subject of national televised ridicule. Of course not. … Heh, heh. Then again, “Tazed and Confused” is pretty damn funny.

Centipede! (Sci-Fi 7 p.m.) Just when I think they've run out of creatures to make giant and stick an exclamation point on the end of, Sci-Fi channel up and surprises me.

Sunday 7

Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings (KWBQ-19 7 p.m.) WB's broadcasting the complete director's cut over the course of two fantasy-filled nights–in case you weren't standing in line at midnight at Hastings two years ago to get the DVD.

“The Simpsons” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) As usual, the World Series has made this year's Halloween episode another “Johnny come lately” affair. But we don't care. So long as we get to watch our “Treehouse of Horrors” trilogy in peace.

“Dallas Reunion: Return to Southfork” (KRQE-13 8 p.m.) Assorted castmembers reunite to talk about the good old days in which they shot one another, slept with each other's spouses and doled out the occasional bitchslap.

Monday 8

“The $25 Million Hoax” (KOB-4 9 p.m.) In this wacky new reality show, a woman must lie to her friends and family, convincing them that she's won some big-time lottery. Which she hasn't. … Yeah, Christmas isn't gonna be uncomfortable around that household.

Tuesday 9

“Rebel Billionaire: Branson's Quest for the Best” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) How much of a rebel is Virgin Corp. owner Richard Branson? Why he's such an iconoclast that he's now got his own TV reality show. Kinda like Donald Trump on “The Apprentice.” And Mark Cuban on “The Benefactor.” You crazy rebel you, Richard.

Wednesday 10

“The Club” (Spike 8 p.m.) Remember that behind-the-scenes reality show “The Restaurant”? Well, here it is set in a night club. Ice is apparently a hot new club in Las Vegas. One day (the very day that cameras are set to roll, wouldn't you know?), the owner brings in a hotshot party promoter from Los Angeles. Surprisingly, she rubs everybody on staff the wrong way and there are lots of dramatic shouting matches.
