Thursday 25

MVP: Most Valuable Performer” (KRQE-13 7pm) Head-to-head competition, elimination voting and celebrity mentors? Seen it all before? Not so fast. This pre-Super Bowl talent show is reserved exclusively for professional NFL football players.

Friday 26

“Britannia” (Amazon streaming anytime) Roman soldiers fight sexy female druids in this wacko-looking, “Games of Thrones”-esque historical fantasy series from British playwright Jez Butterworth.

“Dirty Money” (Netflix streaming anytime) Documentarian Alex Gibney (Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room, Taxi to the Dark Side, Going Clear: Scientology & the Prison of Belief) tackles topics from corporate greed to food biz corruption to a certain orange president in this new investigative series.

Saturday 27

“Young Americans” (TLC 6am) Jenni “JWoww” Farley from “Jersey Shore” coaches millennials to be the best they can be. Tip No. 1: Don’t take advice from a castmember of “Jersey Shore.”

Faith Under Fire: The Antoinette Tuff Story (Lifetime 6pm) Mid-’90s pop/soul singer Toni Braxton has evolved into an actress. (She played Rosalie Rosebud in The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure.) Here she stars as real-life heroine Antionette Tuff, an Atlanta bookkeeper who saved students at an elementary school from a deranged gunman.

“Conan Without Borders” (TBS 8pm) Conan O’Brien jumps on the topic du jour by broadcasting his eponymous talk show from Donald Trump’s favorite shithole country, Haiti.

“2018 Countdown to Valentine’s Day Preview Show” (Hallmark 9pm) I know this is hard to believe, but—in the wake of its Thanksgiving-themed rom-coms, it’s Christmas-themed rom-coms and its general winter-themed rom-coms—Hallmark is gearing up for a hell of a lot of Valentine’s Day-themed rom-coms.

Sunday 28

“2018 Pro Bowl” (KOAT-7 12:50pm) The fan-favorite best NFL players—the one’s not in the Super Bowl, anyway—go head-to-head in the league’s annual “let’s all try not to get hurt” game.

“60th Annual Grammy Awards” (KRQE-13 5:30pm) James Corden hosts. Scheduled performers include: Lady Gaga, Childish Gambino, P!nk, Little Big Town and Patti LuPone.

Monday 29

“America on Fire” (A&E 9:03pm) Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Charlie LeDuff goes deep inside the world of the American militia movement.

Tuesday 30

“Babylon Berlin” (Netflix streaming anytime) This German period drama, set in the ’30s, is based on the crime novels novels of Volker Kutscher and promises a kaleidoscope of music, decadence, sex, corruption and murder.

“State of the Union” (KASA-2/KOB-4/KNME-5/KOAT-7/KRQE-13 7pm) I’m just guessing here, but I bet it’s gonna be “great, tremendous, the best ever.”

“Citizen Rose” (E! 9pm) Rose McGowan—the actor/activist at the forefront of the #metoo movement—gets her own docu-reality show.

“Super Bowl Greatest Commercials 2018” (KRQE-13 9pm) This year marks the 25th anniversary of an iconic McDonald’s commercial, so you’ve totally got to tune in for the epic tribute.

Wednesday 31

“Buried: Knights Templar and the Holy Grail” (History 6pm) Which do you think basic cable documentary shows will discover first: Bigfoot or the Holy Grail.
