Thursday 1

“Premiere League Darts” (BBC America 8pm) BBC America gets 6 percent more British with the addition of rollicking Thursday night dart action.

“A.P. Bio” (KOB-4 8:31pm) When a Harvard professor (Glenn Howerton from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”) fails to land his dream job, he reluctantly moves back to his Ohio hometown and gets a job teaching high school biology.

Friday 2

“Absentia” (Amazon streaming anytime) Stana Katic (from “Castle”) stars in this mysterious thriller about an FBI agent who goes missing while searching for a serial killer. Six years later she wakes up in a cabin in the woods with no memory of what happened to her. It’s not long, of course, before she finds herself neck-deep in a new series of murders.

“Altered Carbon” (Netflix streaming anytime) Based on the the 2002 hard-boiled cyberpunk novel by Richard K. Morgan, this dark sci-fi series stars Joel Kinnaman (from “The Killing” and that Robocop remake we don’t speak of). He plays a prisoner brought back to life in a new body who must earn his freedom by solving a mind-bending murder in a hyper-violent future world where “death” simply leads to uploading your digitized memories into a newly cloned body (assuming you’re rich enough to afford one, anyway).

“#Metoo, Now What?” (KNME-5 8:30pm) PBS launches a new series discussing issues related to sexual harassment.

“2 Dope Queens” (HBO 9:30pm) Based on the podcast by standup comedians Phoebe Robinson and Jessica Williams, this loose chat show finds the ladies discussing sex, romance, race, New York City and Billy Joel with assorted special guests. On tonight’s premiere: Jon Stewart.

Saturday 3

My Secret Valentine (Hallmark 7pm) Hallmark should be commended for waiting all the way until February to start making Valentine’s Day-based rom-coms. Lacey Chabert (“Party of Five” and more than a dozen Hallmark Channel movies) stars in this one.

Sunday 4

“Super Bowl LII” (KOB-4 4pm) In a rematch of Super Bowl 39, New England Quarterback Tom Brady looks to make NFL history with his sixth Super Bowl win.

Monday 5

“The Best of US: The 2018 Winter Olympics” (KOB-4 9pm) NBC is hyping the Olympics almost as much as AnPlan is hyping the Puppy Bowl.

Tuesday 6

“Fred Armisen: Standup for Drummers” (Netflix streaming anytime) Fred Armisen (“Portlandia”) shares his thoughts on musical genres, drummer quirks and Ringo Starr in this standup special recorded before an audience made up exclusively of drummers. No, really.

Wednesday 7

“Queer Eye” (Netflix streaming anytime) “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” returns after more than a decade for a sixth season. Sadly, the original mentors have been replaced.

“Channel Zero: Butcher’s Block” (Syfy 8pm) Syfy’s increasingly creepy, internet myth-based anthology series returns for a third season. This one’s got cannibals.
