Thursday 25

“Legacies” (KWBQ-19 8pm) In this spin-off of “The Originals” (which is a spin-off of “The Vampire Diaries”), a bunch of teenage witches, vampires and werewolves are sent to the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted to learn how to control their powers and “keep the world in balance.” It’s as if Harry Potter and The X-Men had a baby.

“Heathers” (Paramount 8pm) After promoting the hell out of this TV series reboot of the cult ’80s film Heathers, Paramount yanked it off the air before its premiere, fearing that this tale of teenage ostracism and revenge would upset people in the wake of the Parkland High School shooting. Now, the network is quietly burning off the entire series (two episodes per night) over Halloween season. Catch it while you can.

Friday 26

“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” (Netflix streaming anytime) Between this and the CW’s “Riverdale,” Archie Comics are suddenly taking over all media. Here, we have a semiserious reboot of the mid-’90s sitcom “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” (based on the Archie comic spin-off). Kiernan Shipka (“Mad Men”) stars.

“Channel Zero: The Dream Door” (Syfy 9pm) Syfy’s effectively spooky exploration of internet-based “creepypasta” myths enters its fourth season.

Saturday 27

Christmas at Pemberley Manor (Hallmark 6pm) Is Halloween over yet? No? Screw it. Hallmark Channel can’t keep it in its pants any longer. Get ready for a blizzard of Christmas-themed rom-coms.

Zombie at 17 (Lifetime 6pm) A teenage girl (Celeste Desjardins from Taken) finds herself turning into a zombie. But can she solve the murder of her boyfriend before it’s too late and all the brain-eating starts?

Sunday 28

“Busy Tonight” (E! 8pm) Busy Philipps (“Freaks and Geeks,” “Dawson’s Creek,” “Cougar Town”) lands her own celebrity-filled talk show.

“LADYGANG” (E! 8:30pm) Fashion-conscious, mimosa-sucking podcasters Keltie Knight, Jac Vanek and Becca Tobin land their own, non-internet-based TV show.

Monday 29

“A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway” (KOB-4 9:01pm) Original Wicked stars Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth reunite to host this musical tribute concert featuring Ariana Grande, Pentatonix and more.

Tuesday 30

“The Degenerates” (Netflix streaming anytime) Six stand-up comics explore the salacious side of comedy in a series of “hilariously crude, dirty and outrageous” specials from Las Vegas.

“Monster Encounters” (Travel Channel 8pm) Wildlife expert Casey Anderson is on a mission to find bizarre beasts—but, like, real ones. Not Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster or anything that ain’t gonna show up on camera after an hour of wasted viewing time.
