“Arrested Development” (Netflix streaming anytime) You waited five whole years for the first half of Season 5. A year seems like a minor delay for the second half of that season. At least we now get to find out who killed Lucille Austero (assuming, of course, that she’s actually dead).
“Love, Death & Robots” (Netflix streaming anytime) David Fincher (Se7en) and Tim Miller (Deadpool) join forces for this animated anthology covering a wide range of “adult” topics—like sentient dairy products, werewolf soldiers, robots gone wild, garbage monsters, cyborg bounty hunters, alien spiders and bloodthirsty demons from hell.
I Am Richard Pryor (Paramount 8pm) This documentary about late, great comedy idol Richard Pryor hits Paramount Network mere days after its premiere at the SXSW Film Festival.
“One Night For ONE DROP: Imagined by Cirque de Soleil” (KRQE-13 7pm) The Euro-circus Cirque de Soleil performs its annual charity show, raising money for World Water Day.
“Tricky Dick” (CNN 7pm) For some reason television is suddenly very interested in the presidency of Richard Nixon. I wonder why?
“Dwight in Shining Armor” (BYUtv 7:30pm) Brigham Young University TV (which is a thing) premieres its newest scripted series about a dorky young teen who falls into an ancient cavern, accidentally awakening a sleeping medieval princess and her court magician. Sure, she can fend off sword-wielding enemies—but can she handle high school?
“The Fix” (KOAT-7 9pm) Marcia Clark (lead prosecutor from the O.J. Simpson trial) is executive producer of this suspiciously self-referential legal drama abut an Los Angeles DA (Robin Tunney from The Craft) whose life falls apart when she fails to land a prosecution on an A-list actor for double murder. Eight years later, the same celebrity falls under suspicion of yet another murder, and our heroine gets her second shot at justice. Little bit of wish fulfillment, eh, Marcia?
“Mental Samurai” (KRQEDT-2 8pm) Rob Lowe (sure, why not?) hosts this gimmicky game show (’member John McEnroe and “The Chair”?) in which contestants are strapped into a gyroscopic contraption and must answer questions while being flung around the studio like a ride at the state fair.
“The Village” (KOB-4 9pm) A bunch of random people (single mom, young law student, illegal immigrant, PTSD war vet, etc.) live in an apartment building in Brooklyn in this ensemble drama.
“Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” (Freeform 6pm) ABC Family/Freeform’s seven-season teen mystery (based on the novel series by Sarah Shepard) returns with another spinoff series (after 2013’s “Ravenswood”). This one features different teens, a different town and a different murder. Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish return in the roles of Allison DiLaurentis and Mona Vanderwaal.
“Bublé!” (KOB-4 9pm) Michael Bublé stars in the Bublé-est concert special, highlighting songs from throughout his career as well as his latest album, Love.
