The Gentlemen

After a decade or so screwing around with mainstream blockbusters (Sherlock Holmes, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., King Arthur: The Legend of the Sword, Aladdin), British filmmaker Guy Ritchie returns to the knockabout gangster sagas that he made his bones on (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels; Snatch; Revolver). Here we find Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Strong, Colin Farell, Henry Golding and Hugh Grant in the amusingly macho tale of a British drug lord who tries to sell off his highly profitable criminal empire to a dynasty of Oklahoma billionaires.
