Billy Crystal and John Goodman return for this cartoon prequel in which our monster men meet for the first time in college. The film playfully tweaks the conventions of frat-based college films from Animal House to Revenge of the Nerds to Old School—which is some weird inspiration for a kids' movie. Still fun, but not nearly as inventive (or as cute) as the original. 110 minutes G.
