The owners of Kasey’s (400 Washington SE) announced last week that they will be closing their doors this Friday, June 30. A few months ago, the Langes—who have owned and operated the restaurant for the last two years—received some terrible news: Doctors found that the left part of their unborn daughter’s heart didn’t develop correctly, meaning she’ll need surgery immediately after birth. The Langes made the hard decision to close their restaurant and relocate temporarily to Denver to be near a specialist when the birth happens. They are selling #TeamLange shirts (50% of proceeds will go to baby Lenge) and have started a GoFundMe to help with the move. Our thoughts and hearts go with them.
