req3998 Coord,Education Support - The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is seeking an organized, detail oriented individual who can work effectively and independently in a multi-tasking environment. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with public, professional, and/or community educational programs, including day-to-day operations of the Math Learning Lab. Will prepare curricula and teaching schedules, tutor schedules, instructor and tutor training seminars, and administrative support services. Will assist with fiscal oversight, program implementation, administration, and reporting of Math Learning Lab activities. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: · Knowledge of curriculum development and preparation procedures in the ALEKS system. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. · Ability to coordinate and organize educational programs, meetings and/or special events. · Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports. · Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. · Records maintenance skills. · Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. · Knowledge of communication principles, media, and marketing techniques. · Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. · Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills. · Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control. · Experience with Banner finance and Hyperion systems. · Experience in budget preparation and analysis as it relates to financial and grant reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
