PROGRAM MANAGER

Program Manager The UNM-Gallup Adult Education Center is available to those individuals not yet ready to enroll in college level courses. This includes students working on their HiSET ®, as well as students who already have a high school diploma or HiSET® and who are seeking to "refresh" themselves before enrolling in college. The UNM-Gallup Campus, Adult Education Program is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program/project typically consisting of a set of closely related subprograms or associated activities. Oversees program fiscal, operational and administrative management; seeks and develops outside funding sources, serves as principal point of representation and liaison with external constituencies on operational matters, and provides day-to-day technical/professional guidance and leadership as appropriate to the area of expertise. The program/project is usually focused to a single purpose; may be scientific, research, education, and/or services oriented, and is usually funded through contract/grant provisions. In addition, UNM offers educational benefits through the tuition remission and dependent education programs Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of experience 2 of which are management level experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. At least 3 years of additional work experience that can be demonstrated to be applicable to the duties listed on the job description. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Adult Basic Education, or a closely related degree. • Bilingual (Navajo or Spanish and English). • Experience with Curriculum Development, especially related to Adult Education. • Experience in collaborating with community organizations. • Experience in organizing collaborative events. • Successful grant writing experience. • Has successfully worked with a diverse student population. $3434.31 To $5151.47/Month A complete application will consist of the online application (complete all fields), a cover letter and a current resume with references.
