Position Summary The UNM Health Sciences Center Chief Information Office is looking for a Systems/Network Analyst 2 (SNA2) to help manage and improve a robust Microsoft systems environment that will support current and future campus-wide systems and services in the HSC Information Technology (IT) Systems unit. · Demonstrated skills in Hyper-V virtual server implementation, configuration and management. · Experience in managing DFS services and enterprise storage technologies across an enterprise environment. · Knowledge of and experience with SAML authentication · Knowledge of and experience with Citrix NetScaler or F5 Networks application delivery systems. · Knowledge of end point systems management including Windows and 3rd party patching, audit and compliance. HSC IT provides primary IT support for the academic and research operations at the Health Sciences Center. The successful applicant will work closely with the other IT departments and will be expected to collaborate with our partners and counterparts in the UNM Health System (clinical operations) in the management of enterprise-wide shared services. This position will participate in the rotation schedule of on-call Systems staff to respond to and address critical system issues outside of regular work hours. All members of the HSC Systems group must demonstrate a commitment to consistently providing responsive, high quality customer service to departments and end users. The successful applicant will have exceptional communication skills, expertise in Microsoft server, virtualization and Active Directory technologies developed through experience and formal training, a clear sense of customer service, a thorough understanding of the values, practices and procedures found in an academic health sciences center and a commitment to mentoring and developing technical staff. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of progressively responsible experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Higher education and/or experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified may be interchangeable on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications List the preferred qualifications within this text box. • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows server and services including Windows Server (2012, 2012R2, 2016) and Active Directory within a complex IT environment. • Proficiency with server virtualization technologies – (Hyper-V experience is preferred). • Experience in managing Distributed File System (DFS) services in an enterprise environment. • Knowledge of SAML authentication and single sign on (SSO) for affiliated cloud services. • IT project management skills, particularly those involving system upgrades and migrations. • Ability to plan, implement, install, test and troubleshoot system software and hardware within an ITIL framework of change management. • Experience with patch management on Windows, Linux and third party servers. • Experience with F5 APM as a SAML IP Provider.
