RESEARCH SCIENTIST 1

Under minimal supervision, uses fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular field of specialization to perform routine scientific research tasks requiring application of established techniques, procedures, and criteria. This is a grant funded term position. Current funding is available until 31 May 2019. Position requires working independently in a medical clinic to recruit adult research participants (including people with alcohol problems and pregnant women with substance use problems), administer informed consent, administer baseline assessment measures, and collect follow-up assessment measures from research participants; independent coordination with graduate and undergraduate research assistants is also required. Position requires the ability to conduct assessments, run MRI scans/psychophysiological assessments, interact with the IRB, write reports, supervise volunteer staff, and oversee day-to-day aspects of the project. Applicants do not need to have prior experience in all of these areas. This is a benefits eligible position.
